Dominic & Marah’s were married at the Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad. It was the first time I’ve ever photographed at that venue, and I was so pleasantly surprised! It just might be Carlsbad’s best kept secret! And with Marah’s amazing style and planning, it was truly a dream to photograph! Thank-you to Dom & Marah for being absolutely amazing! xoxo
And thank-you to Noah & Jennifer Conover for their help in capturing such a beautiful day!

Marah is such a pretty girl…it’s impossible to take a bad picture of her! And although Dominic wouldn’t want to admit it…he’s awesome in front of the camera! :)

Ummmmm…do you see how absolutely ADORABLE these kiddos are?!?!?!

…such pretty light behind Marah’s gorgeous hair…

Pretty pretty details…

This was the most adorable coffee station I’ve ever seen in my life!…

Noah & Jen got some super fun shots in the photo booth! :)

On the day of every wedding, I love seeking out all of the beautiful details planned for that one special day. At some weddings, it seems to take a whole army of creative minds to put together such a perfect day. My favorite weddings are those that LOOK like it was a whole army, but it was really one creative mastermind at work…which is exactly what Katy did for her wedding. From the garter, to the flowers/center pieces, to the invitations…she did it all! And it was done with such care and precision…if I hadn’t already known, I would’ve thought really did hire an army to help with everything. :) So thank-you to Jonny & Katy for such a beautiful day…it was a dream to photograph!

Katy hand-made these aMAZing invitations…

Such a sweet moment between father & daughter…

There’s just something about this couple that makes me so happy to do what I do. When you look at the pictures…really notice how they look at each other. They are so in love…the way they regard each other with such love & respect…I feel that I can only hope that I was able to capture their true relationship with my camera. Thank-you to Scott & Priscilla for being absolutely adorable together…I so look forward to hearing all about your wonderful future together. :)

Scott & Priscilla were married at Fess Parker’s Double Tree Resort in Santa Barbara…this venue is gorgeous!

The first thing I need to say is this…I’m so glad I’m not a spy or a private investigator, because I am definitely not very good at being sneaky/stealthy in a secretive way. In fact, I was a little nervous when Tim contacted me to see if I could secretly photograph him & his soon-to-be-fiance while he proposed…but I was just so excited I couldn’t say no! So this was the plan…
Tim & Elizabeth were just going to have a little picnic & watch the sunset at the Treasure Island Beach in Laguna. Little did Elizabeth know…Tim’s plans were even MORE romantic!
So…here they are…just walking along, with me pretending to photograph the ocean and other scenery…

I loved these next pictures because although I couldn’t hear them talk, I saw both of them tell each other “I love you.” I was so excited because I knew what was about to happen!!!

And at this point I could here Elizabeth squeal with excitement…she was so cute!

And then I got to come out from hiding behind the bushes & take a few more photos of the happy couple…

…a little of the bling bling…

After the sunset, we walked up to the Studio for yet another surprise from Tim! He invited all of their close friends & family to celebrate with some cocktails & h’orderves…uuummmmm…could he get any more thoughtful??? Elizabeth was truly like an excited school girl all evening, & being a part of such a special moment…I kinda felt like one too! :)
