Today is Danny & Megan’s ONE-month anniversary…yippeeeeeee! I hope they’ve had a wonderful first month of married life…knowing them & their incredibly sweet nature, they’ve loved every minute of it. :) Thinking back to their wedding day, I remember Danny as cool, calm & collected as ever, and Megan as a gorgeous porcelain doll…she truly has such a quiet & vintage beauty. Maybe that’s why they chose to have so many unique antiques included in the planning details. I LOVED photographing all of the fun details in their wedding…so this post is going to be a little long…but I’m sure you’ll love all the eye candy!
Here’s a view of the San Clemente pier from my favorite venue…the Casa Romantica…

Krista Jon did an AMAZING job on all of the florals…including the tables, awning, & so many other delicious details throughout!

Such a special mother/daughter moment…so very sweet…

Here come the boys!…

So many beautiful details…I couldn’t get enough! Thank-you again to Krista Jon for her amazing creativity! Christina with Carbonara’s Catering performed flawlessly (as usual) with seamless coordination, yummy food, and beautiful details…

I LOVED this idea…for table information, each guest had a card with a picture of where they were to be seated…so clever! :)

Love this picture Chaz got…the sun was directly behind the ceremony, so it was a bit difficult to capture everything in good light..but he definitely nailed it on this one!

More details baby!

Such an intimate first dance. <3

And to finish…a little dancing & photobooth love…

I got to photograph a super pretty wedding last April with Sissel Byington at the Darlington House in La Jolla. And not to sound totally cheesy, but the venue is truly DARLING! Just see for yourself!…

Donovan was just arriving, & I caught her peeking out the window! :)

Donovan is a fireman & Jaime is a nurse…so they added a little extra personality to the cake!

They so enjoyed each other during their first dance…I loved it!

This happy couple was married last month in Crystal Cove. It was such a smooth & easy going day…Kevin & Teresa are always so calm, collected, & respectful. They’re both lawyers, so maybe that’s why they never seem to lose their cool…but it truly made their wedding so very enjoyable! Thanks again to Kevin & Teresa for being so awesome! :)

I know I’ve talked about it on a few recent posts, & I’ve shared thoughts/pictures on facebook…but many people still don’t know that I’m pregnant…& yes, it’s a boy! I’m a little over 20 weeks (which means I’m half way there)…& I feel great! The baby’s really healthy, which I am SO THANKFUL for because there are just so many things that can go wrong. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I’ve been scared to death of something happening. I know I think too much, but it has been kinda ridiculous how much I’ve worried myself. The good thing is that all the other moms I’ve talked to say they did the same thing. It’s just that I’ve never felt so INCREDIBLY EXCITED about anything else in my life. And of course all those extra hormones make me waaaaaaaay too emotional…just thinking about how special he is to me gets me all teary-eyed right now. And that’s about when I start getting scared…I already love him so much, and if anything happened to him, I don’t think I’m strong enough to handle that. I guess that constant worry is part of motherhood, right? Well, this is all new to me…and so incredibly special. To me, it really is a miracle. The first time I heard his heartbeat, I cried so hard my doctor actually asked me if I was alright. The first time I felt him kicking inside me was the most incredible thing I’ve ever felt…and it still is. He’s my sweet sweet love, and I know the day I get to meet him will be the most amazing day ever.
Here’s a picture of my special little man…

Families like the Kruger’s make me so excited to have my own family someday! Maybe it’s because they’re from Indiana that makes them so sweet, but I just love hanging out with them during our photo sessions. I got to photograph them a couple years ago while they were vacationing here in soCal, & again this year. Unfortunately for me, they’re thinking of going to Hawaii next summer, so I might have to wait a couple years before I see them again. Good thing for facebook so I can see what they’re up to! :)
